Launched as a fundraiser by the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) Omaha Section, The Great Omaha Chocolate Festival made its debut on September 22, 2011 to a crowd of more than 2,200 chocolate enthusiasts.
Chocolate lovers from all walks of life came out to indulge their sweet tooth and sample chocolate from 27 different vendors. One question was repeated throughout the afternoon:
Will this be an annual event?
A delicious new tradition had been born, and the festival charged back onto the scene on September 30, 2012 - bigger and more chocolatey than ever, with 44 vendors and 3,200 chocolate lovers in attendance! We hope you'll join us on October 6, 2013, 12:00 - 5:00 pm at the La Vista Conference Center, 12520 Westport Parkway, for our annual day of decadence.
