Easy Chocolate Cheesecake

This delicious easy chocolate cheesecake recipe is irresistible to everyone. You will be serving a traditional yet fabulous dessert treat. The preparation time is only about 20 minutes.


1 graham cracker crust
Large bowl
Electric mixer
1-quart saucepan


2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
4 squares semi-sweet chocolate, melted and cooled slightly
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

3 squares semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
(Note: 1 cup chocolate chips = 6 squares chocolate)


  • Preheat oven to 325°F/160°C.
  • Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in large bowl on medium speed until well blended.
  • Add eggs and mix just until blended.
  • Stir in chocolate.
  • Pour into crust.
  • Bake 40 minutes or until center is almost set.
  • Cool. Chill.
  • In a 1-quart saucepan, heat glaze ingredients over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until chips are melted.
  • Spread over top of cheesecake.

Garnish with some or all of these ideas…whipped topping; cherry pie filling; strawberry slices or chocolate shavings if desired.
