My Website Secret tells how I dreamed of having my own business online and the steps that followed to create this unique website for you.

My goal is to give you good quality information and help you to choose chocolate gifts wisely, send chocolate free ecards, learn about your health as it relates to chocolate, fine some delicious chocolate recipes and share some with us, find locations having a chocolate festival, and so much more.

Anyone who has ever said, “I would like to have my own website” will definitely want to read this. I want to share with you how I created this website. I had worked out of our home in the past and definitely wanted to be working from home again for the independence and flexibility.

I read many books and investigated ideas online to accomplish this. I totally ruled out any “get rich quick” schemes. I hate those. I got to a stage where I would read the ending information first just to make sure I didn’t waste my time.

I like working with computer tools and I discovered that there are many ways to use a website. You can have an information based site like mine (I’m called an Infopreneur), sell your products through an online store, do auction selling, promote your local service or brick and mortar business (better than with the Yellow Pages) such as real estate or hundreds of other services, and more.

I read enough to know that creating a website was possible but I couldn’t figure out a “good fit” for me and my abilities, talents, knowledge and desires for work.

One time I went to a local Hobby Lobby and scoured the store trying to figure out what I could create and then sell on a website. I considered skilled art like stained glass or jewelry but that is not me (I don’t have giftings in the “artist department”). I am interested in business and have my bachelor’s degree in Management. I also explored creating a site as an extension of companies that drop ship different types of products.

However, once I started investigating this avenue, it was easy to see that I could use my business background, personality and life interests to create a successful website.

I then investigated the many site development and hosting services. Some were strong on technical development, others strong on hosting services and many promised thousands of dollars of income effortlessly with only a couple hours of work per week – right – who actually believes that!

I am so thankful that I found the right products -- a very powerful, integrated set of tools for all phases of building a high traffic, long-lasting and profitable website even for, and especially for, those who do not have website development technical skills. The package also includes outstanding tutorials to guide you through all steps. And, I learned that I could create a successful site around just about any topic that I have a love for.
