Salem’s So Sweet Chocolate & Ice Sculpture Festival Weather Adjustments:

The Salem’s So Sweet Chocolate & Wine Tasting, planned for this Friday night, will be postponed until Friday February 15. The event, which always sells out, will take place at the same location, Colonial Hall at Rockafellas, and will start at 6.30pm. Pre-sold tickets will be fully transferable, and people who are unable to attend, can choose to receive a refund or make a donation to Salem Main Streets for the same amount.

The first Ice Sculptures will be installed Saturday afternoon, and all ice sculptures will be installed by 10am on Sunday morning. The sculptures are expected to be up for viewing through Valentine’s Day! The golden ticket contest will go on as planned, on both Saturday and Sunday this weekend.

Salem Main Streets, the Salem Chamber of Commerce, and local retailers, restaurants and businesses invite you to attend the 11th annual Salem’s So Sweet, Chocolate & Ice Sculpture Festival. With over 60 places to eat downtown Salem is the perfect place to have a romantic dinner or casual lunch. In celebration of the chocolate weekend, many of Salem’s finest restaurants will feature special chocolate offerings on their menus, including desserts, cocktails, and inventive sauces. Participating Salem retailers will offer in-store promotions, innovative displays and items geared toward chocolate and Valentine’s Day ranging from a chocolate fondue fountain to Valentine inspired dog treats. Once again, Golden Tickets will be available in downtown Salem for a chance to win the Salem’s So Sweet Gift Basket. Pick up your Golden Ticket and have it validated at participating businesses (no purchase necessary) then enter to win a Salem's So Sweet gift basket which features many fine items from area retailers.

11th Annual Chocolate & Wine Tasting - RESCHEDULED DUE TO SNOW!
Friday, February 15 from 6:30 - 8:30
Location: Colonial Hall, 227 Essex Street, Salem, MA

The festival officially kicks off with a Chocolate and Wine Tasting, on Friday, February 15 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm, at Colonial Hall, 227 Essex Street. This luscious tasting event features wine and chocolate samplings from premier Salem restaurants, stores and sweet shops. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased in advance at the Salem Chamber of Commerce starting January 17, 265 Essex Street.

Ice Sculpture Festival – 15+ Ice Sculptures!
Starting February 9th in the afternoon as long as the weather permits!
Location: Throughout Downtown Salem

The Salem trolley will be offering trolley rides around the festival (weather permitting) on February 10 from 10-4 for Adults $1, children are free. Pick up locations include the NPS Visitor center, Pickering Wharf and Washington Street (near Eastern Bank)

Golden Ticket
Golden Tickets will be available in downtown Salem for a chance to win the Salem's So Sweet Gift Basket.
