Chocolate Fudge Recipe

Medium-size heavy saucepan 8 or 9-inch square pan Wax paper to line pan for easy removal from pan or butter to grease pan Clear plastic to cover Wooden spoon
Ingredients: 3 cups (18 ounces) semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk Dash salt 1/4 to 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional) 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

- Line bottom of pan with wax paper extending up over top of pan on two ends or grease pan with butter.
- Melt chocolate chips, milk and salt in saucepan over low heat until chocolate is melted.
- Remove from stove.
- Stir in nuts (optional) and vanilla.
- Spread evenly into pan.
- Cover with clear plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.
- Lift out of pan with wax paper (if using); set on cutting board.
- Cut into 1-inch squares and place on serving dish.
- Store covered in refrigerator.
Makes: About 30 servings. Additions: 1 or 2 cups miniature marshmallows (melt with chocolate and milk)
