Chocolate Chip Muffins Recipe
Enjoy everyone’s favorite chocolate chip muffins any time of the day. They are great for breakfast, snacks, or for a tasty dessert. Ingredients:1 1/2 cups sifted flour 1/2 cup sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 egg 1/2 cup butter or applesauce 1/4 cup milk 1 teaspoon vanilla 3/4 cup chocolate chips, milk or dark
Directions:- Heat oven to 400°F/200°C.
- Spray muffin pan or line with paper cups.
- In large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In small bowl, beat egg, butter or applesauce, milk, and vanilla with fork or whisk.
- Stir egg mixture into large bowl with flour mixture until combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Fill muffin cups about 3/4 full.
- Bake 15-20 minutes until golden brown on top or toothpick inserted in center comes out without crumbs on it.
- Cool in pan on wire rack about 5 minutes.
