I didn't discover Sarris Chocolate Shop in Canonsburg until after I moved away from Pittsburgh. If I had, it would have been a regular weekend treat.

The moment you walk into the Chocolate Shop and Ice Cream Parlour, you know you are in a special place. From the chandeliers glittering on the ceilings to the old fashioned piano that plays a tune on its own the place is a delight.

Wandering from the ice cream section to the chocolate section you'll find unique novelty candies and party favors.

My favorite time of year to visit is during the holidays where you will giant Santas and Easter Bunnies as well as small designs.

It's delicious too! All of the eye candy would not be satisfying if the taste didn't match. My favorites are the chocolate covered pretzels though the truffles are also to die for.

Sarris is a great place to bring your family for a mouth watering and eye pleasing treat.

p.s. They are also well known for doing fundraisers for local schools and charities.
