Cadbury's Flake

by Karen
(Tampa, Florida, USA)

It is rare to see these wonderful flaky bars in the USA. The only place I can ever find them is in Indian stores and sometimes Jamaican stores (all people once part of the British Commonwealth)

When the ice cream van jingled around the neighborhood, we used to eat them poked into a cone of vanilla ice cream, and they were called 99s, if I remember correctly.

They are 100% milk chocolate and smooth as silk, but very messy to eat!

As Cadbury recently got eaten by Kraft Foods, I fear they may be discontinued, and if Kraft does continue making them, I am sure they will never taste the same!
