Belmont Chocolate Fest (annual event)
Congregational Church of Belmont
October 7 and 8, 2011
751 Alameda de las Pulgas
Belmont, CA

(When is the next one? If you know, please tell us…either by using our Contact page so we can update the facts or submit information and pictures using Share with Us yourself on the Chocolate Festivals page. Thank you, Gloria, editor for Everyone-loves-chocolate.com)

Twenty different vendors of chocolate wares (ice cream, gelato, brownies, cakes, cookies, truffles and candy of every sort, as well as chunks of pure chocolate) will offer samples for tasting for the 1,000 guests. Chocolate Fest will be organized in three sessions: Friday evening, 7:30-10 p.m.; Saturday afternoon, 1:30-4 p.m.; and Saturday evening, 7:30-10 p.m.

Guests are invited to take part in unlimited tasting, champagne and coffee, a chocolate boutique and prizes. The Michael Medwid Jazz Trio will play all three sessions. Proceeds from Chocolate Fest benefit outreach projects within the community (such as Samaritan House, Second Harvest Food Bank and the Interfaith Hospitality Network) as well as the effort to maintain the historic church.

Tickets for the afternoon sessions are $17.50 in advance and $20 at the door; seniors and children will be $15. Tickets for the evening sessions are $22.50 in advance and $25 at the door, with no senior/child discounts.
